VRL Logistics gains 4% on strong Q4 numbers

Operating profit or EBITDA jumped 35.3 percent at Rs 59.9 crore, while margin was up 200 bps at 11.7 percent.

Share price of VRL Logistics gained 4.4 percent intraday Monday after the company posted strong numbers for the quarter ended March 2019.


The company's Q4 net profit rose 70.8 percent at Rs 20.5 crore against Rs 12 crore, while revenue was up 4.9 percent at Rs 513 crore against Rs 489 crore, YoY.

Operating profit or EBITDA jumped 35.3 percent at Rs 59.9 crore, while margin was up 200 bps at 11.7 percent.

At 11:20 hrs VRL Logistics was quoting at Rs 256, up to Rs 10.60, or 4.32 percent on the BSE.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 426.90 and 52-week low Rs 238 on 21 May 2018 and 27 February 2019, respectively.

Currently, it is trading 40.03 percent below its 52-week high and 7.56 percent above its 52-week low.

Veto Switchgears jumps 5% on realisation of unsecured loan

Veto Switchgears had given unsecured loan to its wholly owned overseas subsidiary Veto Overseas Private F.Z.E. Veto Switchgears and Cables shares rallied 4.8 percent intraday on June 14 after realization of unsecured loan from a subsidiary. "We realized an amount of $1 million against an unsecured loan on June 13," the wires & cables and electrical accessories manufacturer said in its filing. Rohit Singre of LKP Securities said index formed bullish candle on daily chart suggesting some more upside before expiry.
